I was born in Marseille, south of France and grew up in the French caribbean islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint-Martin.
My passion for scuba diving started in the early 90s and I got graduated in 95 as a open water scuba instructor.
After fifteen years of teaching recreational divers, I moved to Mexico where I discovered cave diving and sidemount scuba diving. Needless to say that the spark that animated me throughout all these years in the scuba industry just got a boost!
I work hard and became a full cave instructor with specialties such as Stage, Sidemount and Advanced Sidemount Stage cave instructor.
I am real passionaate about classical sidemount and DIR diving.
I ran my own company in Mexico called Essential Scuba Training where I was teaching Cave divers, backmounted and sidemounted ones along with some open water/recreational courses.
Exlporing virgin caves in Mexico was the apex of the reward I could get to after working so hard. I really enjoyed every drop of sweat and tick bites that came with looking for new cenotes in the jungle.
I was very fortunate to team up with a leading group of explorers where crafts were exchanged from one cave instructor to another. A real community of passionate divers.
Then life got me by surprise and I had to move along and away from the caves of Mexico...but not for long, rest assured.
I am now based in Dubai and establishing myself as a Sidemount, Tech and Recreational instructor. I met the licensee of UTD here and was convinved to take on the IDC ran by Jeff in March.
Here I am, after having looked at UTD way back when they came to Mexico for the first time but at the time, I was not ready :)
